EDITOR'S VOICE: 2016

"Everybody wants to be famous, but nobody wants to do the work. I live by that. You grind hard so you can play hard. At the end of the day, you put all the work in, and eventually it'll pay off. It could be in a year, it could be in 30 years. Eventually, your hard work will pay off. " -Kevin Hart

I started my year off in California, Vegas and back to New York. It was a rough start until May in which I graduated with my BA in Media Communication and Visual Arts, signed my first rental lease and started a new job, all in May. I also spent a week in San Diego in which I learned new elements in life and came back to the city refreshed.

I seen so much art in 2016. I met a beautiful man who made me smile more than another, we shared experiences and ate vegan foods among others. He helped me keep positive energy and showed me what I deserved until he chose not to be that and thumped my heart in the process.

My roommates and I bought a crowd pleasing, baby pink couch and threw four amazing parties. I turned 22! I relaunched my website, the one you are reading now and made powerful steps to bringing my brand to the attention of many, still a ways to go. I met so many beautiful faces and souls, linked up with a dope videographer and premiered, ELEMENTS (watch via YouTube now)!

I finally made it back to Miami and attended Art Basel. Took a couple more flights to Vegas and Portland for the holidays. Then, returned to a new job offer in PR in New York. I am currently recruiting for The HYE TV 2017 and although, I'm living check to check and still maintaining the biggest smile, I know 2017 is going to be GOLDEN!
