ART: Treble.FM is Tinder for Musicians
Treble.fm is LinkedIn meets Tinder for independent musicians and music creators.
Treble.FM is a networking platform for creatives in today's music space. In the physical world, they specialize in developing community, building experiences for a growing population of music and visual artists (previously sponsored by Shure, JBL, PBR). In the digital world, they have an iPhone app that connects artists to the resources they need to further their careers. The app was launched nationwide on August 3rd via a marketing campaign that includes coverage from The Verge, The Wall Street Journal and NPR’s Morning Edition.
Through the app, you can discover anyone that can benefit your career as far as engineering, styling, cover art or even ghostwriting. The app has worked in favor for rappers Astro and Taylor Bennett by sourcing bandmates for tours in the knick of time.
Treble.fm has also launched a weekly performance series called, #TrebleTuesdays, which is a showcase held on Tuesday nights for artists to engage and perform in front of an audience, free if charge. Check out the next Treble Tuesday by following @treble.fm for updates!
