Thank you to Every Stylish Girl (@evertstylishgirl) and Brunchaholic (@brunchaholic) for curating the young, business women bruncheon this evening!

On April 2nd at The Malt House (@themalthousefidi) in FiDi, 100+ girl bosses and those in training gathered and allowed their magic to flow from 1- 6pm on a sunny Sunday. VIPs ticket holders arrived at 1pm where we enjoyed a 90 minute bottomless brunch between 1 - 3pm before the speakers lifted our spirits.

Look a what Tash Yasmine and I ate below - mouthgasm!

Egg Benedict (Avocado Hollandaise, Green salad and red bliss potatoes) / Kellog's Crunch French Toast with Maple Honey syrup and a side of scrambled eggs The food was amazing and the three Bellinis we each had were HITTING! At 3pm, more ladies piled in after brunch services followed by the Every Stylish Girl founders official introduction then the introductions of Tatianna Elizabeth, ANTM runner up/model and @skinButtr creator, and Bobo Matjila, digital content creator. The ladies gave pep talks to all the girl bosses in training as they discussed making money from personal branding, maintaining your business and image, grinding to make your dreams reality and slaying effortlessly to help people realize who you are!

There was a mingling intermission for an hour where the melanin meshed together as we loved on on another in admiration, made new connections and friendships and took mad photos.

The brunch wrapped up after the final panel of inspirational, young women spoke about how they came to sit in the seats they were in. The panel included Maya Allen, Fashion/Beauty Editorial Assistant at Cosmo, Chealsea Turpin, PR Asst at Bohoo/Cuffn Szn, Anayka Pomare, FL Content Editor at Vogue and Telsha Anderson, Social Media Producer at Food & Wine/Truce Mag. The women briefly touched on the importance of social media and pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors on top of a 9-5. You can do it, honey!

Overall, the SIP N' SLAY Brunch was motivational, fun and needed. I know there are young women out there, just like me who are pursuing their dreams and some, working for others. We are our only barrier and can accomplish everything we put our mind and effort into. Together we will not fail.
