BEAUTY: Hair Products you should BUY and WHY
Product Junkies: A Person who has more beauty products than the local beauty supply store.
Are you a product junkie because I know I am.
When I first went natural, I would buy every product under the sun; from crazy overpriced conditioners to foreign co-washes. But the truth is, being natural doesn't have to mean buying an excessive amount of expensive products. Follow this simple beauty routine below to take care of your curly strands without breaking the bank.
Shampoo (Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo): Shampooing is necessary as it is an essential part of cleansing the hair and scalp of product buildup. Shampoo should be use once a week or once every two weeks.
Co-wash (As I Am Coconut CoWash): Shampoo may leave your hair dry if you use it excessively. Co-washes may be used in between weekly washes to cleanse the hair and scalp while preserving moisture.
Deep Condition (Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil) Treatment Masque): Deep Conditioners are essential for growing and nourishing your hair. Instead of buying a regular conditioner, get a deep conditioner and leave it in your hair for at least thirty minutes and your hair will thank you.
The LOC or LCO Method (Cantu Shea Butter Curling Cream): The last step to caring for your natural hair is to moisturize. To moisturize your hair, you should always have these three product ingredients: A leave in conditioner, cream, and oil. This combo will allow your natural hair to maintain moisture for at least three to four days while you rock your twists out, blowout, or protective style.
